Job description

This is an opportunity to join an experienced, creative and high performing team in a culturally diverse area with great opportunities for training and development.

We are looking for an Outreach Youth Support Worker who :

- is effective in building engaging and influential relationships with young people involved in or on the periphery of the Criminal Justice System and their wider peer groups, improving their life chances
- is able to seek out and engage young people where they are, including schools, outside and in local youth clubs, supporting them to move forward positively
- is able to effectively assess the needs of young people behaviour and plan and implement innovative interventions






- can work in partnership and forge positive relationships with key agencies, e.g. education, police, social care and health
- can represent the Integrated Youth Service competently and confidently in a range of contexts
- are able to encourage restorative processes and foster

This post is subject to Ealing’s enhanced vetting process.

This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role.

This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.

We currently have one fixed term position for 18 months.





External applicants will be offered a fixed-term contract and existing Ealing council employees will be offered the opportunity of a secondment.

LBE employees must ensure a secondment release form is signed by their line manager before applying and emailed to by the application closing date.
