Job description
Wayman Recruitment Group is currently seeking a Geography teacher to join an excellent school in Barnet, starting in April.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective and engaging Geography lessons that align with the national curriculum
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects and activities
- Utilize a variety of teaching resources and technologies to enhance the learning experience
- Manage behavior in the classroom and implement effective discipline strategies when necessary
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching Geography at primary or secondary level
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
- Effective classroom management skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of educational policies and practices
