Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging computer science lessons to students in line with the national curriculum
- Foster a positive learning environment conducive to student growth and development
- Design and implement effective lesson plans tailored to meet individual student's needs
- Assess and evaluate student performance and progress regularly and provide constructive feedback
- Utilize a range of instructional strategies and technologies to enhance teaching and learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the computer science curriculum
- Monitor and maintain student records, including attendance and behaviour
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Computer Science
- Proven experience teaching computer science at the primary or secondary level
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum for computer science
- Ability to inspire and engage students in the subject
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Familiarity with technology and digital resources used in computer science education
