Job description
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with chemical manufacturing company to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join their Rotherham facility.
Salary : £38,000 - £42,000
Shift pattern 07 : 45 - 15 : 45, early Friday finish
The Mechanical Maintenance Fitter will be fitting, installing and maintaining equipment on site.
Our client is looking for a time-served maintenance fitter with experience working in a an industrial environment and is process driven.

Other duties of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer include :
- Ensure all PPM tasks are completed on time and to the required standards
- Fitting gearboxes, gears, pipes, pumps, motors
- Installing pipework
- Adhering to permits when carrying out jobs
- Prioritising health and safety on all aspects of the role
- Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance on a variety of equipment
To be successful in the role the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will need to have the following skills and experience :
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
- Pipe fitting experience is ideal
- Mechanical fitting experience
- Health and safety conscious
- Process driven
