Job description
An exciting job role has recently become available at the Sefton Council. They are looking for a new member for their Adult Learning Disability & Autism Team.

Requirements :
- Manage a complex caseload with supervision, ensuring compliance with policy, procedures, and legislation.
- Prepare statements and represent clients in court, working within legislative frameworks.
- Make complex decisions using professional judgment, involving service users and needs-led assessments.
- Assess risk and need in complex cases,
conduct safeguarding investigations, and maintain updated care plans.
- Develop care plans with other agencies, ensuring they reflect service user wishes and lead to personalized care.
- Negotiate care arrangements with individuals, balancing choice with budget constraints.
- Collaborate across multi-agency teams and undertake direct work with adults and their families.
- Communicate effectively in high-risk situations, modelling strong communication and decision-making skills.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker :
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
