Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and personal growth.
- Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback and guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
- Communicate with parents / guardians regarding student progress and any areas of concern.
- Participate in departmental meetings and school-wide events.
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with a relevant degree in Geography or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Geography at the primary / secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
