AWM - London - Vice President - Full Stack Software Engineer Goldman Sachs Asset Management - Alternatives Engineering (Private Side) - Investment Servicing :

AM Alternatives Engineering is a core and critical part of the wider private-side alternative investment platform, working in partnership with investors to build robust, scalable technology platforms, and data driven investing capabilities to enhance the platform's ability to deliver class-leading returns to clients on a global scale.

We collaborate closely to drive growth, value creation, and efficiencies through automation, digitization, and quantitative analytics across the full investment, fund, and client life cycle.

Investment Servicing focus on building platforms to capture and manage our investments across an exceptionally diverse product set withplex funding structures.

Our new platforms focus on streamlined, systematic, low touch, and controlled designs with the ability to scale across a multi-billion-dollar global portfolio with highly-bespoke transaction execution and asset servicing.

We work with a diverse set of users, data consumers, and stakeholders,





including investment professionals across all sleeves, traders, cross-sleeve management and operational teams, and the control-side of the firm.

Skills and Experience we are looking for :

- Bachelor's degree or higher inputer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or other related STEM subjects






- 6+ years of experience working as a full-time software developer
- Excellent programming and software design skills in at least one object orientated programming language
- Experience with relational and / or non-relational database technologies
- Ideally experience building interactive web applications with React or Angular, and an interest in adopting new technologies ( AWS)
- Pro-active attitude to problem solving, personal sense of ownership and responsibility, collaborative team-player, and a strong growth mind-set
- Proven strongmunication and interpersonal ability, with an ability to presentplex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Interest in finance (pre-existing finance knowledge is a plus, but not required)
