About this job

The purpose of the role is to provide project coordination to the Family Hub Early Help programme. Overseeing the commissioned organisations, monitoring their delivery, reviewing referrals and caseloads, establishing an carrying out quality assurance processes, managing referral pathways and promoting the service to increase referrals.

Have oversight of the data relevant to Start for Life and Family hubs in the Liquid Logic database. This will involve promoting registration forms to capture data and monitoring data coming in and analysis data we have to best use it to engage families in our services and understand where we need to target our work.

Special requirements for this post







Project coordination to the Family Hub Early Help programme will involve :

Overseeing Commissioned Organisations : Ensure all contracted organisations are meeting their delivery targets and contractual obligations and address issues where necessary Conduct regular check-ins and coordinate quarterly performance reviews with each of the commissioned partners.

Monitoring Delivery : Track and analyse the progress and outcomes of the services provided by commissioned organisations.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of service metrics and outcomes.

Reviewing Referrals and Caseloads : Regularly review caseloads to ensure they are manageable and distributed effectively.

Identify trends and patterns in referrals to inform service planning and delivery.

Establishing and Carrying Out Quality Assurance Processes : Develop and implement quality assurance frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of services.

Conduct regular audits and reviews of service delivery to ensure compliance with quality standards.







Managing Referral Pathways : Develop clear and efficient referral pathways to streamline access to services. Work with partner organisations to increase referrals making the transition for the service users between different services smooth.

Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of referral pathways and make improvements as needed.

Promoting the Service to Increase Referrals : Develop and implement a marketing and outreach strategy to raise awareness of the Family Hub Early Help Programme.

Engage with community organisations, health visiting, midwifery, early years settings, schools, and other potential referral sources to promote the services available.

Use various communication channels, including social media, newsletters,





and community events, to reach potential service users.

Oversight of the data relevant to Start for Life and Family hubs in the Liquid Logic database will involve :

Data Oversight and Management : Ensure accurate and up-to-date entry of all relevant data into the Liquid Logic database.

Monitor data integrity and address any inconsistencies or errors promptly. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the database structure and functionalities to optimise data management practices.

Promoting Registration Forms : Coordinate with staff and partner organisations to ensure widespread use and completion of registration forms.

Provide training and support to staff on the importance and process of collecting complete and accurate data.

Data Analysis for Engagement :





Analyse collected data to identify trends, patterns, and insights about family engagement with services.

Use data analysis to identify geographic or demographic areas with lower engagement or higher needs. Develop targeted outreach strategies to engage families in identified areas.

Prepare regular reports and dashboards to present key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Compliance and Confidentiality : Ensure all data collection, storage, and analysis practices comply with relevant data protection regulations and organisational GDPR policies.

Maintain the confidentiality and security of family data at all times. Regularly review and update data management practices to align with best practices and legal requirements.

About you

An experienced project coordinator with knowledge of early intervention with children's services, ideally within early help, children centres or family hubs.

A self starter who can work independently and as a team member.

Has good communication skills and it hard working and committed to delivering on time.

Has a good eye for detail.

Start for Life and Family Hub is a DfE funded programme. Barking and Dagenham is one of 75 local authority areas to receive a share of the £301.

75 million.





Family Hubs and Start for Life programme funding package for the period 2022 2025. Investment in the Start for Life period from conception to age two, to support parents to care for and interact with their children.

The funding is based on 'The Best Start for Life : A Vision for the 1,001 Critical Days’.
