Title : Lead Mechanical Design Engineer - Nuclear Engineering Sector Warrington

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's team in Warrington.
Our client is a leader in the nuclear engineering sector, working on innovative projects that make an impact globally.
Key Responsibilities for Lead Mechanical Design Engineer Role :
- Leading mechanical design teams for complex machinery and handling systems
- Developing detailed 3D CAD designs using industry-standard software
- Conducting FEA analysis of components and assemblies
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements within the regulated industry
Qualifications & Skills Required for Lead Mechanical Design Engineer Role :
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications & skills :
- Qualification : A BEng or BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
- Skillset : Proficiency with 3D CAD design software such as SolidWorks or Inventor; experience leading cross-functional project teams;
excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Additional Details :
The ideal Lead Mechanical Design Engineer will bring extensive knowledge of designing heavy machinery used within regulated industries along with expertise around developing robust solutions through modeling techniques like Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
You'll work closely alongside other departments while managing your own lead-design team.
For the successful Lead Mechanical Design Engineer , a salary up to £61k is on offer and this Lead Mechanical Design Engineer role is commutable from Warrington, Liverpool, Preston, Manchester, Salford, Crewe, Chester, Runcorn, Bolton,
Wigan & St Helens and my client also operates a hybrid & flexible working policy for its Engineers.
