Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Spanish lessons to students in accordance with the national curriculum
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for the Spanish language and culture
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs of students
- Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate and align teaching activities and resources
- Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning experiences
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with a degree in Spanish or a related field
- Proven experience teaching Spanish to primary and / or secondary students
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and its application to Spanish language teaching
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' learning
- Ability to create engaging and innovative lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
