The creative team leader leads a global team of graphic designers, digital designer and writers / editors to deliver high quality print and digital pitch documents, bid submissions, presentations and reports.
Working on significant opportunities the creative team leader leads the translation of the consultancy business strategy and objectives into practical bid designs.
They are expected to maintain a regular interface with all senior members of the business to assist in business development, identifying opportunities and synergies, joining up thinking and activity across the business, and making a positive impact.
As an associate director in the department, individuals are also expected to support the continuous improvement of the consult bid team, develop and coach both direct and indirect reports to develop their roles, resource workload appropriately, bring ideas and fresh thinking to the department and act as a champion for best practice in design, editorial and bid management at all times.
You’ll be responsible for :
Governing a robust workflow process to manage the end-to-end process of creative work focusing on project, resource & capacity management.
Acts as the brand guardian.
Developing, evolving and implementing the brand strategy and brand guidelines.
Maintaining quality, consistency, and brand guidelines of all projects.
Leading and inspiring a team to deliver world class work, from conceptual ideas, through development, design, and delivery.
Working with team / s to deliver creative concepts and ambitious campaigns from brief and concept through to delivery.
Responsible for the creative philosophy and the standard of output across not just the marcomms team output but wider Mace content.
Building an innovative and forward-thinking environment for the creative team to work in and overseeing their ideas and projects.
Continuously looking for ways to improve the quality of our creative deliverables.
Devising and maintaining an ongoing training programme focused on upskilling and educating the wider busine
Influencing employees on creative best practise (resources, templates, guidelines, assets).
Acting as a lead mentor to colleagues.
Ensuring the monday.com boards for the creative teams are up to date daily.
Demonstrating how creative work supports development and adds value across Mace’s evolving service offer and has led to winning work through data return on investment (ROI).
Working alongside marcomms team members and channel owners to develop briefs and deliver against them.
Leading and inspiring the creative team
Representing marketing and communications across all levels and expertise within the business
Managing the budget including quarterly budget reporting
Working closely with the Marcomms senior management team to effectively plan resource around key activity and ensure each of the teams are working towards the same objectives.
Managing the workflow of the creative team.
Providing creative development through to execution, bringing industry innovations, new ideas and thinking.
Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll need to have :
