We’re looking for confident, ambitious consumer focused Account Director, with experience in travel and tourism. Ideally from a larger agency, with a black book of travel contacts in the UK.
The primary focus of this role will be supporting on Global Campaigns, creating beautiful decks and impactful campaigns with our creative and design studio, as well as the Director on the account, bringing UK media knowledge and contacts to the picture.
Secondly, there is an element of UK press office work, during campaigns helping the UK team secure coverage amongst fashion, travel, luxury and mainstream media.
Lots of opportunity to travel for meetings, as well as hosting press trips.
Key Skills & Responsibilities
- This role is to work solely on a tourism account, reporting into a Director, with an Account Executive and other team members to support.
- The role will be divided into UK press office activity, and global or EMEA campaigns. There will be some admin, but mostly directing other markets on reporting and working closely with the global team.
- Working with the Account Director who leads the UK press office, and sporadically supporting on media content creation and pitching.
- Being account, media relations and creative support for the Global director, working across both the UK account and wider campaigns.
Qualifications
- This individual will be driven and entrepreneurial, with a passion for creative campaigns and securing editorials opportunities.
- Essentials : travel + tourism experience, open to travel to Middle East, hosted press trips with media, organised, passionate, media savvy, excellent UK media contacts, entrepreneurial,
dedicated, organised.
- Desirables : international hub experience, working with other countries, Middle Eastern experience (personal or professional).
