- Position : Supply Teaching Assistants
- Location : Bridlington, United Kingdom
- Salary : £80-100 per day
We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to join our team in Bridlington. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers in the classroom, supporting students with their learning and development, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them with their academic and personal development.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, including setting up equipment and resources.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring their individual needs are met and they have equal access to learning opportunities.
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents / carers, promoting a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment, implementing behaviour management strategies when necessary.
Requirements :
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A positive and flexible attitude, with the ability to adapt to different classroom settings and student needs.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting the learning and development of young people.
- A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is required for this role.
