You'll be instrumental in driving operational excellence, ensuring our manufacturing facilities operate at peak performance and paving the way for long-term sustainability.

As Group Maintenance and Reliability Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our engineering strategy.

Reporting to our Group Head of Engineering, you'll collaborate with teams across the Marshalls network to develop and implement innovative technological solutions that drive our business forward.

Now imagine leading a function of talented professionals,





shaping the future of our reliability engineering strategies, and ensuring that our facilities run smoothly day after day.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative approaches to optimise equipment safety, reliability, and performance.

From establishing key performance indicators to implementing data-driven methodologies like Root Cause Analysis and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, you will be instrumental in minimising downtime and maximising efficiency.

Your leadership will extend beyond your function. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the Marshalls group, ensuring that maintenance activities align with asset criticality and production needs alongside Marshalls’ capital investment portfolio.







You will also foster strong relationships with suppliers and contractors, driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness in our operations.

You will champion innovation and continuous improvement. Your expertise will be instrumental in exploring, championing, and implementing cutting-edge technologies to improve asset reliability.

You'll contribute to developing new software solutions and processes to enhance our operations and position us for long-term success.

This position will require regular travel and overnight stays across the UK.

What are the mission-critical skills?

- Proven experience in an engineering leadership role within a manufacturing environment






- A strong technical background with expertise in relevant technologies and software development methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team of engineers across a network, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset
- Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements in the field of engineering
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in leadership, computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred
