Role Overview:
We are seeking a Corporate & Commercial Associate/Senior Associate to join our Energy and Infrastructure team, specialising in Oil and Gas.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects within the energy sector, including oil, gas, renewables, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the partners in the Oil & Gas section by working on a mix of upstream operator and service sector assignments.
Advise operators on various operational contracts, field development agreements, and decommissioning security agreements.
Participate in due diligence for M&A; transactions, collaborating with the wider energy team.
Provide guidance on contractual issues related to specialist service sector contracts, including drilling and offshore construction.
Navigate regulatory matters and establish strong relationships with clients and internal departments.
Engage in business development efforts and prepare industry briefing notes.
Stay informed about legal and industry developments to enhance client service and team performance.

Committed to understanding client business models and delivering high-quality work.
Strong analytical and communication skills with excellent writing capabilities.
Ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
A genuine interest in business development and staying current with legal and sector knowledge.

Solid grounding in legal knowledge with good business acumen.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
