About the Role
The Drama and English Teacher will be responsible for teaching Drama and English to students at Key Stage 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both subjects and will be able to create engaging and stimulating lessons.
The candidate will also have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and the assessment requirements for both subjects.
Responsibilities
- Teach Drama and English to students at Key Stage 3 and 4
- Create and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons
- Assess and track student progress
- Provide feedback to students and parents
- Work with other members of the staff to support the overall development of students
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A university degree in Drama and English or a related field
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum and the assessment requirements for Drama and English
- Experience teaching Drama and English at the secondary level
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Willingness to undertake training and continued professional development
