Job Title : Autism Teaching Assistant
Location : Tower Hamlets, East London
Salary Scale : up to £100 a day
Start Date : ASAP
Contract : Temp to Perm
GSL Education are currently looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant for one of our client Primary schools in Tower Hamlets , East London.
The school is looking for someone who can start ASAP and has experience working with ASD individuals and small groups of Autistic children.
About Autism Teaching Assistant Role :
- You will be working closely in Year 6 to motivate and encourage ASD children to reach their full potential.
- Supporting children with special educational needs
- Provide 1 : 1 individual support for a range of Autistic children
Ideal candidates will :
- Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
- Be able to support pupils who have Autism
- Have basic understanding of childhood development and steps to support children
- Have knowledge and able to implement strategies to support ASD children
Have Good communication and interpersonal skills.
