We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Science teacher to join a brilliant school in Brent. This position is set to start ASAP.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Science lessons to students, using a combination of practical experiments, technology, and traditional teaching methods.

As a Science teacher, you will have the opportunity to nurture curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, while fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for scientific concepts.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students,
ensuring alignment with the school curriculum
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation
- Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to students and parents / guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching practices and resources
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant data
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science Education, or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching Science at the primary or secondary level
- Excellent knowledge of the Science curriculum and current teaching methodologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and improving teaching practice
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the school's wider curriculum
