Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging drama lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum guidelines
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of all abilities
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and promote their interest in drama
- Plan and prepare lessons, assignments, and assessments that are aligned with educational standards
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback on their progress
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school activities
- Monitor and manage student behaviour in the classroom and during drama productions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field
- Teaching qualification or certification in Drama Education
- Experience teaching Drama to primary or secondary students is highly desired
- Proven ability to engage and inspire students through creative and innovative teaching methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices in Drama Education
