Job description

The Opportunity

Reporting to the UK Marketing director, this newly created position will have responsibility to lead the social, content and influencer strategy across GPN’s portfolio of brands.

With a growth mindset, the key focus will be to define all of the brand’s social strategy and then partner with the marketing team to develop and execute against this.

Responsibilities

Strategy :

- Define and create a disruptive and effective social media and influencer strategy for all GPN UK brands to align with marketing and business goals






- Partner with the teams to execute against this strategy

Campaigns and content :

- Build industry leading social campaigns in partnership with the brand teams, aligned with broader brand initiatives and objectives, that connect with the target audience, drive engagement and brand growth
- For Optimum Nutrition, work closely with the sports community manager to shape and execute the campaigns. This includes developing inspiring and engaging ideas for the Optimum Nutrition roster of talent and influencers
- For the Lifestyle brands, work closely with the brand team to shape and execute the social calendar and content with influencers and ambassadors
- Develop social playbook and design guardrails for all brands

Influencers and creators :

- Curate and enrol relevant influencers across the brand portfolio to develop powerful advocacy and education
- Drive best practice on working with influencers and how to create engaging content

Platforms, agencies and thought leadership :

- Develop strong relationships with social media platforms (e.g.





Meta, TikTok), media and creative agencies and influencers
- Grow and maintain strong relationships as social thought leader within GPN
- Staying updated on the latest social media trends, emerging technologies and competitor activities to inform new, creative ideas and executions

Measurement :

- Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics to optimise plans and inform new directions and best practice
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Conduct continual social listening to inform future directions

Social Commerce :

Partner with European Centre of Excellence to develop and execute UK social commerce strategy

The Skills you will bring to the team

- Extensive experience in social media strategy and execution






- Proven experience in developing, briefing and creating culturally relevant and highly engaging content with a portfolio of highly creative and effective social media campaigns
- Experienced in managing social channels, agencies and influencers
- High working knowledge of best practices for social media platforms, including TikTok and Instagram across organic and paid
- Experience with social commerce
- Social media reporting experience and ability to connect KPIs with overall marketing and business objective
- Ability to think creatively with a passion for developing and delivering big ideas that get the world talking
- Ideally with experience in sports, FMCG and / or DTC
