Job description
Wayman Group is currently seeking a Maths teacher for an academic school in Enfield. This is a full-time position starting in April.

Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum and objectives
- Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that promote student participation and critical thinking
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including attendance, grades, and assessments
- Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe and supported
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share resources, strategies, and best practices
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on students' academic progress and behavior
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching Maths in a primary or secondary school setting
- Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment practices
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest educational trends and practices
