National Account Manager
Location: Homebased, with travel to customers when required
Role Overview:
As a National Account Manager, you will oversee key wholesale customers including Booker and Costco.
This role offers exposure to a wide range of customer types and sizes, providing experience in various environments. You will be accountable for building relationships and driving growth through joint business plans that align with our commercial strategy.
What You’ll Be Part Of:
In a highly competitive marketplace, the independent sector remains diverse, offering unique growth opportunities. Our Wholesale team is focused on expanding our brand presence in consumer-facing stores, leveraging a ‘push’ and ‘pull’ strategy. The ‘push’ involves securing space in wholesale depots and brochures, while the ‘pull’ drives sales through retailers, caterers, and publicans.
To unlock growth, we need someone who understands the complexities of the wholesale supply chain, is analytically minded, pragmatic, and forward-thinking. You’ll play a key role in promoting our portfolio, managing customer needs, and fostering long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Manage key wholesale customer head offices and depots to drive portfolio growth.
- Develop account and environment growth plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Own the day-to-day P&L; management, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Act as the primary contact for customer business relationships.
- Regularly review and assess business performance, making recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Field Sales, Finance, Category Insights, Customer Development, Logistics) to execute joint business plans.
- Shape customer selling stories for key brands, product innovations, and key calendar moments.
Skills & Experience:

- Proven Sales Expertise: Ability to identify growth opportunities and execute strategies to unlock them.
- Strong Communication Skills:
Confident in engaging with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
- Commercial Acumen: Skilled in delivering and negotiating strong commercial plans.
- Drive and Energy: Positive, proactive, and always pushing for progress.
- Collaborative Mindset: Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Stakeholder Management: Comfortable managing relationships with senior-level customers.
