Associate Business Liaison Officer

Salary: Range 3 - £24,525 - £29,268 per annum / pro rata

Location: Fixed – Permanently office based at Gun Wharf

Contract: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full Time

Do you have a passion for Technology & have experience setting up AV solutions?

The main purpose of the role is to assist the Business Liaison Officer with the main Council meetings, set up AV equipment onsite to facilitate streaming them on YouTube - this will require evening and possibly late-night working.

To ensure participants of physical & virtual YouTube live streams can access the meeting, providing advice and guidance.

To produce video training content for ICT and assist ICT project implementation. This will enable ICT to engage with our users and help bridge the gap between the world of technology and everyday operational user tasks.

To assist with and arrange training courses, workshops (digital and face to face)

To assist the Business Liaison Officer to create digital training documentation, to accompany the training courses being delivered.

As part of this role, you can expect to undertake the following tasks:







- Setting up / configuring of AV equipment ready for virtual YouTube live streams.
- Creating / Updating support documentation.
- Creating training videos.
- Assist ICT to communicate to users via email & other media platforms in a non-technical way.
- Advising / supporting users for virtual team’s meetings.
- Engaging with senior managers at all levels within the Council and with Councillors.
- To constantly evolve & improve the AV and Live streaming experience for the users of Medway Council.
- Responding to simple queries via telephone or email.

- Liaise with various areas of the organisation to enable them to use technology to make processes more efficient and to upskill staff.
