Junior Marketing Assistant
Bounds Green office 5 days / week
£20-£30k
Job scope
We are seeking a Junior Marketing Assistant for a fast growing company. You will play a key role in supporting the marketing team with content creation, social media management, and the production of marketing collateral.
This role is perfect for you if you have a passion for writing, basic graphic design skills, and a desire to develop your career in marketing.
Key Responsibilities :
Social Media Management :
- Create, schedule, and manage social media content across platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
- Monitor engagement and respond to comments or inquiries
- Track performance metrics and suggest improvements for future campaigns
Copywriting & Content Creation :
- Write engaging and error-free copy for social media posts, email newsletters, blogs, and website content
- Assist in developing and editing marketing materials, presentations, and product descriptions
- Ensure all copy aligns with brand tone and voice
Marketing Collateral Production :
- Assist in the production of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, banners, and email campaigns
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all platforms and content
Graphic Design :
- Create simple, on-brand graphics for use in social media posts, presentations, and marketing materials
- Use tools like Canva, Adobe Spark, or basic Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator to produce visual content
- Help manage and organise digital assets such as logos, images, and templates
General Marketing Support :
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Conduct market and competitor research as needed
- Assist with event coordination and promotional activities when required
Skills & Qualifications :
Education :
A relevant degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience :
0-2 years of experience in a marketing role or relevant internship experience (entry-level welcome).
Required Skills :
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content best practices.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (basic proficiency is fine).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and the ability to bring fresh ideas to the table.
Desirable Skills :
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and email marketing platforms.
- Experience using social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Basic video editing skills or experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe InDesign.
